did i mention when i shove the nose ring back in it hurts worse than when i got it pierced.
it just took me like 15 minutes to get it through.
If you are wearing a nose bone, you are probably doing almost as much (sometimes more) damage each time you change it as was done to pierce it.
If not, maybe the curve on the nose screw is a little tight for you… Any competent piercer should be able to fix that for you. I find giving it a slightly longer tail makes it easier for people to change on their own.
Other variables:
- If it is on your non-dominant side (Left nostril on a right handed person) It will be harder to come @ the piercing from a comfortable angle, making it harder to make a smooth transition.
- If it is not healed fully, that could be the problem as well.
- W/ nose screws: there is a difference between a left & right handed bend. many piercers don’t know that, & most jewelry stores don’t care to know that. The proper bends will make things easier, & thereby less painful. A good piercer will know the difference & can help you w/ that.
